COVID-19 Questions & Answers 


What type of COVID-19 testing do you offer? 
Our office offers Rapid antigen COVID-19 testing. The testing currently used is Indicaid, more information on these tests available here. These tests offer 88.4% sensitivity and 100% specificity through a lateral flow assay in 10 minutes. 

Our offices also offer PCR swab tests which are sent to a local laboratory. Samples obtained Monday- Friday before 12 pm are expected to be back the same day, all results are expected within 24-48 hours. If you do not receive your results within 5 days please contact our office. Results can also be located at https://medlabinc.com/results/ 

Who can receive COVID19- testing at your offices? 
Testing is available to our patients up to their 22nd birthday who are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19. A provider will see you to determine which test is best for you.

PCR testing available without provider evaluation with a script from your child's pediatrician. 

Adults can obtain a Rapid antigen test for a fee. 


How much does COVID-19 testing cost? 
Testing may be covered based on insurance coverage.  Please contact your insurance carrier for full details on your coverage. 

Patients with Fidelis Care, Out-of-State Medicaid, no insurance coverage or no proof of insurance are considered self-pay patients. We require $150 at the time of service. 


What type of testing is required for travel? 
Please consult the airline you are traveling with as it depends upon the airline and destination. 

What testing is required for back to school? 
Please reach out to your school district for up to date requirements for back to school testing! 
Many schools have different criteria, so make sure you contact your school specifically.
